After considerable consideration, Julie has decided to proceed forward with the funeral service for Jace and a memorial service for Sheldon.  It will take place in Shelton, WA on Saturday, March 24th.  We do not have times or the address to the church just yet, but we will post it when we know.  For those who are wanting to attend, Shelton is about 65 from the Seattle Airport.

A second funeral, memorial service, and burial will be held on Friday, March 30th in Salt Lake City.  Again, more specific details to come.  We just wanted to let everyone know the dates for those that are planning to attend.

I am astounded by the generosity of the friends and family of Julie.  There have been single donations as high as $500.  As we all know, it is very costly to have a funeral and it is not something we save for so young in our lives.

Thank you for all the love and support that has been shown at this time.  Julie feels all your prayers.

  2. I was in tears when I heard about this tragedy! I knew Sheldon from a program in high school called upward bound. He was always smiling, & making people laugh. He truly was one of the nicest guys I've ever known. May the Lord continue to bless & comfort your family. Keep the faith, & remember how much you are loved. Sincerely, Jeanne Simmons

    Julie,

I put your name on the general authority prayer roll today. It will stay there for 3 weeks. I hope it gives you strength.
